Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing financial reports, and supporting key healthcare reimbursement and regulatory reporting functions. This position serves as a primary resource for fixed assets, general ledger reconciliations, audit support, Medicare cost reporting, DSH, wage index reporting, and payroll tax compliance. The Senior Accountant partners with Finance leadership to ensure the integrity of financial information, strengthen internal controls, and support organizational decision-making.Healthcare accounting experience is strongly preferred.

Education:
Associate's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting - required
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting - preferred

Experience:
3-5 years of relative experience - preferred
