Position Overview: Are you a network engineer pursuing your next opportunity? If so, this role will be part of the Network and Security Engineering Team within the Information Technology Division. You will be responsible for providing engineering leadership and support for the delivery of multi-site enterprise and data center network environments; including the evaluation, design, implementation and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure technologies and solutions! Your work falls into three primary categories: Technical Execution * Understand Business Requirements, build complete network solutions the meet or exceed security best practices and deploy. * Engage in efforts to Automate routine tasks across the Engineering and Operations teams so that customers can utilize a self-serve model of basic changes without the need of tickets and engaging engineering staff. * Understand Network, Security and Voice standards, reference architectures and robust/scalable/secure Network, Security and Voice infrastructure, its outcome and ongoing results. * Provide technical expertise to implement, configure and troubleshoot multiple technologies. * Assist with Security audits and Risk Management to ensure infrastructure meets all requirements and looks for ways to automate compliance and reporting. * Support other engineers by providing technical mentorship and making recommendations. Project Execution * Engage with Engineering and partner with Information Security and Business areas to implement technical solutions to complex business issues that align with target state architecture and conforms to corporate best practices. * Provide technical expertise to the project team. Implement network solution. * Business Communication. Engage with internal teams, project teams and business areas to discuss issues and document or explain technical solutions in a simplified way. * Participate in project deployments with other engineers to meet deadlines and requirements. Support Operations * Diagnose, tackle and provide root cause analysis for hardware and network related issues. * Support and Participate in our On-call rotation schedule but also be available to assist Network Operations during major issue or outages. * Coordination with Operations team for the design, build and production readiness of Network, Security and Voice infrastructure solutions supporting mission critical production environments. * Proactively search for Automation opportunities so that Operations team can focus on troubleshooting events and supporting engineering needs. * Mentor junior members in the operations team and engineering teams. Our Impact: Enterprise Network Engineering is responsible for the architecture and engineering of the Enterprise Network Infrastructure and multiple platforms. The technologies include IPAM, Load Balancer, Firewalls, Network Automation, Wireless, Route/Switch and end user authentication. Your Impact: You will collaborate with network, infrastructure and security teams and team leadership to advance our technical capabilities and improve our services to the business. In addition, you will help build solutions that support the needs of the business, and especially the IT organization! Qualifications * 5+ years in an engineering role engaged with IP network technologies including LAN switching, BGP/OSPF routing, VPLS/MPLS, Quality of Service, traffic engineering, server load balancing and network-security design and delivery for large scale multi-site data center environments. * Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, related field or equivalent experience. * Experience working with Automation and scripting - experience with Ansible, Terraform, AppViewX, Python and other platforms with proven experience delivering systems that reduce delivery timeframes, increase successful changes and results. * 5+ years of experience with the configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of Arista, VXLAN, EVPN, Cisco IOS and Cisco Nexus Switches and Routers, Cisco Wireless, Cisco ASA VPN, F5 Networks LTM/GTM, Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco Identity Service Engine, Sourcefire IDS/IPS, Bluecoat Proxy. * Experience with Arista network equipment and CloudVision. * Experience with NTP, RADIUS/TACACS+, DNS and DHCP infrastructure design. * Experience with network visibility and monitoring using Gigamon, Riverbed and Splunk solutions.
