Serves as a resource and expert in the area of pharmacy projects and initiatives. Areas of focus include: pharmaceutical and product procurement, vendor agreements, contract compliance, cost analysis, utilization analysis and vendor relations. This responsibility may encompass acute care, retail, ambulatory, managed care, specialty pharmacy, outpatient infusion and long-term segments of care delivery. Ensures compliance with rules and regulations that pertain to the targeted populations and/or areas of practice.
Bachelor of Science (BS) Bachelor of Arts (BA)
Requires current Registration from state(s) in which he/she practices.
Minimum three years of practice experience is required. Minimum of 3 years in Pharmacy purchasing, procurement and/or contract compliance.
Past experiences must have demonstrated leadership ability, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to apply sound principles of management and supervision.
Ability to facilitate consistent decisions and processes across a wide range of stakeholders (pharmacists, technicians, nursing, physicians, leaders, administrators and elected representatives).
Certified Pharmacy Technician, 340b Certificate
