Senior Solutions Architect Details
Essential Job Duties:
- Responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions across applications, infrastructure and integrations
- Developing architectural diagrams, technical specifications and implementation roadmaps implementation
- Provide architectural guidance to infrastructure teams
- Lead design reviews and recommend improvements to existing systems
- Establish best practices for software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and system performance
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability planning
- Present architecture recommendations and technical strategies to leadership and clients
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
- Responsible for design, build, deployment, and maintenance around virtualization technologies and storage platforms
- Responsible for design, build, deployment, and maintenance of Citrix technologies
- Ensure system uptime and availability, overall performance, resources, and security of all systems to meet need of end users
- Analyzing system logs, identifying potential issues with systems, and proactively presenting possible solutions
- Install and upgrade components and software, provide routine automation and offer improvement options for consideration
- Applying system updates, patches, and configuration changes routinely in a proactive manner
- Answering technical queries and assisting end users upon issue escalation
- Documenting the configuration of underlying infrastructure, processes, and procedures
- Troubleshooting any reported problems and implementing improvements to eliminate future issues
- May be on-call.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College graduate - BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent field required.
- 8+ years in software development, systems architecture or engineering
- Experience with medium to large network system project planning
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale systems and distributed architectures
- Extensive experience working with Virtualization technologies and storage
- Expertise with designing, managing and deploying Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Provisioning Services, Citrix Workspace and Citrix Netscaler/ADC
- Experience working with databases and data architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Strong knowledge of API's, microservices and system integration
- Extensive experience with personal computers, software, and networks.
- Experience with network infrastructures and network security.
- Strong knowledge of Powershell scripting.
- Must meet and deal successfully with a wide variety of people.
- Must be accomplished in written and verbal business communication.
- Must have strong analytic skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
