SITTER

• DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
  • Under the supervision of an RN, provides close observation of patients at risk for falls and those patients placed on suicidal/homicidal precautions who are not restrained.
• QUALIFICATIONS
  • Professional/Educational
    • At least 17 years of age.
    • Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred.
    • DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification (CPI) preferred
    • Management Of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training preferred.
  • Personal
    • Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
    • Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
    • Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
    • Ability to follow directions accurately.
    • Appreciation of and desire to be a part of a health care team dedicated to providing patients optimal care.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
