We are seeking an experienced and energetic, forward thinking professional to join our Information Technology group in Singapore. As part of that team, you will be helping with the design and adoption of our customer engagement (CE) capabilities focused on area such as: CRM, non-face to face engagement capabilities, scientific leader & stakeholder management and campaign management. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Working with IT and business stakeholders across Asia Pacific you will be responsible for the creation of business requirements to ensure system functionality meets business needs. When required you will support the delivery of training to support the effective adoption of system changes by staff.

You will have the opportunity to partner with regional and global teams to leverage existing solutions and platforms or help identify and evaluate new capabilities for inclusion to our CE roadmap.

Primary job responsibilities include:

Work within the Go To Market Team, country IT and business teams to deliver capabilities to business clients in our Customer Engagement (CE) area.

Facilitate discussions/workshops with business partners to understand current and future state business processes/requirements

Drive business process design through the application of Six Sigma and other operational excellence techniques. Documents and verifies business process flows and business requirements. Verify solutions alignment with requirements and MSD IT architecture

Develop an understanding of our customer facing teams needs and ensure our platforms deliver immediate and long term capabilities

Responsible for documenting system operating procedures

Keep abreast of new technologies, methodologies, industry practices and standards

Education: MSc.Degree or BSc. Degree.
Strong analytical and organisational skills.
Motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Experienced in obtaining and documenting business and functional requirements
Excellent client interaction skills both in a formal meeting environment as well as in informal one-on-one meetings
Experience with developing business cases (preferred)
Strong problem solving skills.


Knowledge of CRM tools would be ideal, preferably with Siebel / Oracle or Salesforce.
Have participated in, or be familiar with, Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices
Familiarity with laws, rules and regulations applicable to Pharma industry is desirable. Other regulated industry experience will be considered
Analytical thinker demonstrating experience in optimising Sales & Marketing business processes
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Superior written, listening, communication and influencing skills
The ability to advocate new ideas, even when risks are involved
Japanese language skills (not critical but an advantage)
