Special Education Teacher

CareStaff Partners is seeking an experienced Special Education Teachers (SPED Teacher) for a critical contract position at a School District near Millbrae, CA .

Special Education Teachers (3 openings)

• 2 -Middle School Resource

• 1 - Elementary SDC

Required:

• Current valid CA teaching credential (Ed. Specialist or Mild-Moderate)

• Driver's license with own transportation.

Preferred:

• 1-2 years of current school district teaching experience

• bilingual a plus

Work year:

• ASAP - June 2, 23 - potential for ESY and ongoing yearly contract.

• Hours: 8:00 AM- 3:30 (7 per day billable, plus 30 minute unpaid lunch)

Caseload/Duties:

• Caseloads are well below average. This is a dream assignment.

• Duties: Provide IEP academic service support; case management for students on caseload; set up, facilitate and write legally compliant/defensible IEPs; provide formal assessments. Attend training as requested, collaborate and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.

• Manage, train and support assigned paraeducators

Pay Package: $41-47 per hour depending on experience
