9 Month Position
Description:
- Screen and evaluate students to determine needs and breadth of speech and language services.
- Schedule and provide therapy to students utilizing a variety of intervention service models.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.
- Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals and specialists to discuss individual student's modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions or problems. Work collaboratively to ensure student's needs are met
- Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals and diagnostic evaluations.
- Participate in staff development and school improvement activities in order to maintain professional growth. Plan and incorporate best practices or new strategies.
- Experience in Rtl practices.
- Participate in events outside of the regularly scheduled work day such as orientation, open houses, conferences or extra-curricular activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Professional Educator License Registered in Will County
- State of Illinois Speech & Language Pathologist Endorsement (SLPN)
- Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Speech and Language Pathologist License
