- DEFINITION OF POSITION
- The speech-Language Pathologist plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician, the Speech-Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college/university preferred.
- NC license in Speech/Language Pathology or approved CF (Clinical Fellowship) plan.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association or approved CF(Clinical Fellowship) plan.
- Preferably two years of supervised work experience with adult patients.
- BLS Healthcare Provider Certification
