Speech/Language Pathologist

A licensed and certified speech/language pathologist will be responsible for organizing and conducting speech/language therapy programs within the healthcare system. This will be done by implementing physician referrals, performing necessary evaluations, establishing appropriate plans of treatment, and directing patient treatment in selected tasks to improve or otherwise enhance functional communication skills according to the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). The associate will have the knowledge of human growth and development through the lifespan of the patient and have the ability to meet the needs of and provide care to these patients.
