Salary Range: $56,384 - $144,907
Placement on the salary schedule is determined by education and years of experience. A complete salary schedule is available in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
About this Position:
This Speech-Language Pathologist position provides specialized services to students with complex support needs in our Structured Learning Environment (SLE), including students with low-incidence disabilities. The SLP delivers evidence-based therapy targeting functional communication through total communicative measures, with an emphasis on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). In addition, the SLP supports broader school communication needs, including speech and language screenings, articulation services, and contributions to the MTSS team. This position requires a collaborative practitioner who partners closely with staff and families to promote inclusive practices and address a wide range of communication needs across the K-5 setting.

Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain within one year of hire
- Experience with AAC systems and students with low-incidence or complex communication needs strongly preferred
