At Good Shepherd Lutheran Community, our in-house rehab team provides high-quality care in a subacute/skilled nursing setting where you can build strong patient relationships and make a real difference-on a per diem schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Provide dysphagia management and recommend safe diet textures and strategies as appropriate
• Collaborate with nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and physicians
• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure)
• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Experience in skilled nursing or subacute rehab preferred; new graduates welcome
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Patient-centered, collaborative approach to care
