About EmpatSpeech
EmpatSpeech is a mission-driven speech-language services organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, culturally responsive SLP services for students who need them most. We partner with schools to place trained, supported SLPs directly on campus, bringing our evidence-based curriculum, supervision model, and professional development infrastructure into the heart of each school community.
The Opportunity
As a School-Based SLP with EmpatSpeech, you will deliver speech-language services directly to students on a school campus, using EmpatSpeech's curriculum, assessment frameworks, and clinical tools. - Follow EmpatSpeech's curriculum, documentation standards, and service delivery models
- Serve students within a school setting alongside school staff, educators, and administrators
- Act as a professional bridge, representing EmpatSpeech's standards while building trust with school partners

- Participate in IEP meetings, student support team meetings, and school-based collaboration as a representative of EmpatSpeech
- Communicate effectively with school staff about student progress while maintaining FERPA compliance and EmpatSpeech confidentiality standards
- Navigate situations where school expectations and EmpatSpeech clinical standards may differ - escalating to EmpatSpeech supervision when needed
- Serve as a visible, trusted presence in the school building
