Speech Language Pathologist

In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Empathetic Evaluations: Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, designing individualized therapy plans that focus on real-world outcomes.
  • Innovative Therapy Plans: Develop and execute patient-centered intervention strategies, routinely reviewing medical data to adapt plans and maximize each individual's rehabilitation potential.
  • Collaborative Care Coordination: Partner closely with our Director of Clinical Services, physicians, family members, and primary caregivers to ensure a seamless, holistic approach to patient care.
  • Advocacy & Education: Instruct and empower families and caregivers with the tools and techniques needed to maintain and optimize the patient's progress at home.
  • Rigorous Documentation: Complete comprehensive evaluation reports and progress notes accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of HIPAA compliance and patient safety.

What You Bring to the Team

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Master's Degree in Speech Therapy or Speech/Language Pathology.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a practicing Speech Therapist.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Current and valid State Licensure/Certification as a Speech Therapist in the state of Georgia.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel as needed for client care and home services.

Physical Requirements & Demands

  • Physical Strength: Medium Work. This position involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to safely move objects and support patient care.
