Speech Language Pathologist

Description

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and education for patients with communication, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and feeding disorders across the lifespan. Services are provided in accordance with physician orders, evidence-based practice, ASHA standards, state and federal regulations, and hospital policies.

The SLP serves patients in inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, transitional swing bed, home health, and contracted outreach settings and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current North Dakota Speech-Language Pathology License.
• CCC-SLP through ASHA preferred or eligible.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills.
