Position Summary
A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide evaluation, treatment, and therapy services to patients across clinical, educational, and home health settings. The role involves close collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing outcomes, while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Assess and treat communication, language, articulation, voice, fluency, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home programs
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and promote a safe treatment environment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Strong communication, clinical assessment, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
