Pillager School District is seeking a 1.0 Speech Language Pathologist beginning the 2026-2027 school year.
Description:
- Responsible for providing Speech services to meet individual needs of students in all areas of communication.
- Responsible for administering and interpreting assessments and written reports of information in areas of development, including evaluation reports, IEPs/IFSPs, outcome summaries and progress reports.
- Responsible for consultation/teaming with classroom teachers and other school specialists to implement recommendations, modifications and adaptations/assistive technology in the student's daily activities.
- Provide evidence-based AAC therapy to support individuals with complex communication needs, including assessment, implementation and training.
- Acts as professional liaison between educational staff/specialists and medical specialists related to the provision of Speech services.
- Obtains or working towards C's certification to complete third party billing for eligible Speech services/students.
- To perform any other duties as assigned.
Job Summary: The Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct and indirect services, conduct appropriate evaluations, and consults with other staff and parents.
Qualifications:
- Graduated or equivalent course credits and degree with licensure in Germaine area
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including written
- Maintains confidentiality
Working Conditions: Works in standard office and school building environments.
