Speech Language Pathologist
Job Overview
We are excited to invite a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our wonderful team! Duties
- Conduct engaging patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions, focusing on enhancing communication abilities.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals, educators, and families to provide holistic support for patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thoughtful documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic journey.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology to continually improve our services.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, but we welcome all applicants!
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively connect with patients and their families.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
