Position Title: Full Time Speech and Language Pathologist
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology with required successful school internship or student teaching completed.
Reports to: Director of Special Services
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow Article 7 guidelines in identification, enrollment, and programming for students who require speech, language, or hearing services.
- Conduct individual evaluations of students exhibiting speech and/or language concerns.
- Maintain compliance for case conferences and progress monitoring as required by Article 7.
- Prepare and implement appropriate Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and Service Plans (SPs).
- Maintain a positive, well-organized learning environment to promote students' continued progression and success.
- Utilize an appropriate behavioral system to maintain efficient use of planned service times.
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with school personnel, parents/guardians, and other professionals.
- Participate in all required meetings requested by Rush County Schools.
- Collaborative team partner to share ideas, strategies, and materials to best support individual students.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services.
