Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Full-Time

Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for student success nationwide, Therapy Source is actively seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person services in a clinic-based setting, supporting clients ages 19 months through 21 years. This is a year-round position for the current school year.

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Position Details:

• Setting: Clinic-based
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 2:00 PM-7:00 PM
• Ages: 20 months-21 years old
• Population: Verbal and nonverbal clients

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in the state of Virginia
• Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
• Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Responsibilities May Include:

• Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals
• Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require speech/language therapy.
• Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
• Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
