Speech-Language Pathologist (Contracted)
Qualifications:
School Speech and Language Pathologist (PK-12) Certification
Additional Information:
This job is responsible for identifying students with communication disabilities with a goal of restoring and improving communication skills. Critical areas of the position include:
- assessing students speech development needs
- planning and implementing appropriate treatment to maximize student success
- writing and conducting evaluation reports
- facilitating evaluation team meetings
- creating/revising IEPs
- maintaining student records
- providing direct and consultative services to student with speech and language services
- participating in school aged transitioning meetings, evaluations and adopting IEPs
Speech and Language Pathologists also receive an additional annual stipend in the amount of $2,000!
