Position Summary
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders for residents in our skilled nursing facility. You'll be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, focused on improving each resident's quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and create personalized treatment plans
- Deliver therapy for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with other rehab professionals and facility staff
- Document services and patient progress accurately and promptly
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
Qualifications
- Valid and active Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- In good standing with all licensing and regulatory bodies
- SNF or long-term care experience preferred
- Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications
Master's degree
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology
Speech -Language Pathology License
Skilled nursing facility experience
Long-term care facility experience
Experience treating aphasia
Experience treating apraxia of speech (AOS)
