POSITION: Speech Language Pathologist (Maternity Leave)

STARTING DATE: August 12, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. A valid Illinois Type 73 certification.

2. Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.

3. Master's degree in speech language pathology from an accredited College or university.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: August 12, 2026 through December 22, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A valid Illinois Type 73 certification.
  2. Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.
  3. Master's degree in speech language pathology from an accredited college or university.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning and Preparation

  1. Designing coherent programs or services.
  2. Demonstrating knowledge of best practice and models of delivery.
  3. Demonstrating knowledge of students or clients.
  4. Demonstrating knowledge of resources.

Professional Practice and Delivery of Service

  1. Creating an environment to support student or client needs.
  2. Demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
  3. Communicating clearly and accurately.

Consultation and Collaboration.

  1. Collaborating with others.
  2. Serving as a consultant to the school community.
  3. Providing resources and access.
  4. Maintaining standards of professional practice.

Professional Responsibilities

  1. Communicating with families.
  2. Developing a record system.
  3. Growing and developing professionally.
  4. Reflecting on professional practice.
