What we're looking for:

Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a part time Speech-Language Pathologist in and around Roslyn. The caseload is primarily homecare at the moment, with potential to build up in many of our outpatient clinics located all across Long Island. Position is part time with benefits and a requirement to see 20 sessions per week. CFs will be considered with strong experience in dysphagia and voice.

Job Type: Full Time Status (20 sessions/week)

Pay: Salaried - up to $52,000

Requirements

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
• Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
• Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
• Mandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
