Aspire Senior Living East Prairie, a skilled nursing facility located in East Prairie, MO, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our interdisciplinary team. About the Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will provide speech therapy services to our residents, assessing and treating cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of residents' communication and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address identified needs
- Provide speech therapy services, including individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatments, and progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care and progress
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements:
While we do not have specific requirements for experience or education at this time, a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) are highly desired.
