Key Responsibilities:
• Resident Evaluation & Treatment Planning: Assess residents' speech and language needs and develop personalized treatment plans
• Activity Selection: Design activities that help residents improve independence in their daily activities
• Progress Monitoring: Observe and assess resident performance, adjusting treatments as necessary, and preparing detailed progress reports
• Rehabilitation Support: Assist in the rehabilitation of residents affected by injury, illness, or other conditions
• Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff
• Confidentiality: Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the secure handling of confidential information
• Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress, auditing department records as necessary
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare teams to contribute to a cooperative and supportive team environment

Requirements:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy Program
• Licensing: Current New York State Speech Language Pathologist License
