Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full-Time

Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-person services for public school students in Florida. This is an immediate need, and the position will continue through May 27, 2027.

Compensation: $55-$60 per hour

Position Details:

• Immediate Need
• Full-Time: 40 hours per week
• School Schedule: 6:45 AM - 2:15 PM, Monday-Friday
• Time built into the workday for documentation and paperwork
• No extra school duties assigned (no bus duty, lunch duty, car rider duty, etc.)
• Strong district and administrative support
• 1099 Contract Position
• Position available immediately through May 27, 2027

Required Qualifications:

• Current CCC-SLP certification
• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License
• Florida Department of Education certification (as required for school-based practice)
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances
• Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop appropriate speech and language goals for students
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services
• Deliver push-in and/or pull-out services as determined by student needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
• Support students' communication needs to promote academic, social, emotional, and vocational success
