Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our pediatric therapy team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in children.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child’s needs.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques for communication and language disorders.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and other team members.
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to support home generalization.
- Adapt therapy strategies to support changing developmental needs.
- Maintain high standards of ethics, compliance, and clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Georgia SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Proficiency in therapy approaches for communication and language disorders.
- Experience treating dysphagia and swallowing disorders.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
