Speech Language Pathologist (Part-Time - 20 hrs/week)
Nyman Associates, a company run by Speech Therapists since 1978, is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time hospital-based position focusing on inpatient and outpatient adult populations.
Job Details:
- Provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and oral motor function to an assigned group of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Consult with medical, allied health, and education personnel
- Independently evaluate patients with known or suspected communication disorders (including speech, language, and oral motor dysfunction) using both non-standardized and standardized evaluation tools
- Develop an individual therapy plan for each assigned patient, which includes goals of treatment
- Instruct family members and caregivers on in-home therapy programs
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that ASHA and the state board recognize
