Nestled at the base of the breathtaking Mount Shasta, Yreka, California is a warm and welcoming town that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and small-town charm. The role operates from Monday to Friday, providing you with a schedule that aligns with typical school hours and allows you to immerse yourself in the community and the natural surroundings on the weekends. Your time will be spent working with a caseload of 45-55 students from PreK to 12th grade, ensuring a hands-on impact in shaping their educational paths.
Yreka is not only known for its historical milestones but also for its state-of-the-art medical facilities like Fairchild Medical Center, which serves as a beacon of quality healthcare and community support. This position allows you to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking educational team, all while enjoying the serene and rich backdrop of Northern California.



Required Qualifications
Speech/Language Pathologist, School
Licenses: SLP-CA
Certifications: ASHA-American Speech Language Hearing Association

Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or Related Field
Speech Therapist Clinical Fellows are Encouraged to Apply
State License is Required to Start the Assignment



Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
Previous experience working in a School Setting, Early Childhood, or Pediatrics
Strong Knowledge of Speech and Language Development, Assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
