Speech Pathologist

  • DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
    • Evaluates patients; diagnoses communication disorders; plans, directs, and provides treatments for pediatric and adult patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of two years experience preferred. Entry level acceptable.
    • Education and Training:
      • Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
      • Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
    • License, Certification & Registration:
      • MASPEECH - MA Speech and Language Pathologist License.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Must be able to comprehend and write the English language.
