Speech Pathologist
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Evaluates patients; diagnoses communication disorders; plans, directs, and provides treatments for pediatric and adult patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help them achieve a maximum level of functional independence. Documents patient care and results of treatment appropriately in the medical record to comply with policies and procedures of the department and regulatory agencies.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years experience preferred. Entry level acceptable.
- Education and Training:
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
- License, Certification & Registration:
- MASPEECH - MA Speech and Language Pathologist License.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be able to comprehend and write the English language.
