SR. We provide a curated assortment focused on perishable products, continuously refreshed general merchandise, gas and other ancillary services to deliver a differentiated shopping experience that is further enhanced by our omnichannel capabilities.JOB SUMMARY As an integral team member for a small, empowered, collaborative team, the Senior Network Engineer is responsible for developing and managing BJ’s corporate network, clubs, ecommerce and distribution centers technical strategy, architecture, and development plans, as well as leading the operational development and integration of key products and technologies within the company’s IT enterprise network infrastructure. This includes local and wide area networks, wireless, standards based enterprise network management tools, and all other current and emerging communications technologies. In addition, this position will also be responsible for senior level operations escalations and on call engineering support for BJ’s production networks and services. This position will be tasked to drive the development and maintenance of the company’s network product and service roadmaps, participate in new technology assessments and selection, and the development of junior technical support staff.SALARYCompensation starts at $100k-commensurate with experience plus bonus potentialRESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrated ability to anticipate future business needs while assessing new technologies and determining in which ways new technologies can be leveraged by the IT staff, and the operations of BJ’s.
Analytical skills required to make recommendations and/or implement enhancements to existing infrastructure.
Proven ability to document: IT policies and procedures, network diagrams, small to complex project outlines and tasks. Demonstrated experience/effectiveness managing complex projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires 5+ plus years of designing, implementing, and supporting large complex enterprise networks
Experience with Cisco routing and switching
Understanding and experience with Cisco Nexus and Cisco ISR platforms
CCNP or CCNA a plus
BS/BA Degree
