Sr. Program Manager
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for development, management, and oversight of Pediatric and Perinatal Supportive Care programmatic processes and projects, including but not limited to, strategic operational planning, project management, implementation of methodical process improvement initiatives, departmental and organizational expansion efforts, human resource leadership responsibilities, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to optimize internal and external customer experience. Works collaboratively within a team of Pediatric and Perinatal Palliative Physicians, Nurses, Chaplains, Fellows and Health System counterparts to coordinate efforts and focus support where needed. Identifies areas in need of improvement and supports planning and evaluation efforts tailored to address the needs of pediatric and perinatal patients and families faced with complex healthcare needs. Provides education and mentorship on pediatric and perinatal palliative care provision, the complex needs of the Pediatric and Perinatal Supportive Care population, and available supportive resources. Performs internal and external networking and collaboration to establish partnerships and program betterment. Adheres to the mission, vision, and values of University Health.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree is preferred. Organizational skills with keen attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Experience in project coordination, data analysis, reporting, and planning is preferred. Must demonstrate the ability to work with public contacts, establish, and maintain effective working relationships and be highly adaptable to high-paced clinical environment.
