Staff Nurse RN [Cardiac Medical Stepdown]

As a Staff Nurse RN on our 20-bed Cardiac/Medical Stepdown Unit, you will work as a part of an integrated care team to deliver the highest quality of care to critical patients. While this unit serves as a stepdown to our ICU, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and care for acute patients, collaborating with Physicians, Pharmacy Staff, Patient Care Techs and other members of the continuum of care.

- Vasopressor Management
- Drip Management/Titration
- Bipap/Advanced Airway Management
- Stable Ventilator Management
- Post-Op Cardiovascular and Thoracic Care
- Stroke Management
Required Qualifications:
Education: Graduate from a nursing program
Licensure/Certification: Current RN license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS; ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); graduate from an accredited nursing program
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of recent telemetry experience in an acute care hospital setting; open heart or post-PCI experience
Licensure/Certification: Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN); Cardiac Vascular Certification; Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
