STAFF RN
- POSITION SUMMARY
- Provides professional pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Functions as scrub nurse/assistant or circulating nurse during surgical procedures. Provides patient care in accordance with prescribed, delegated medical regimen and hospital policies.
- EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, with current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
- Incumbent will be required to attain BCLS certification within 3 months of hire; recertification required annually.
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC or MICN required per unit policy, in order to be designated as Charge Nurse.
- Preferred:
- BSN and specialty certification.
