Student Nurse Extern PRN
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care respective to the assigned patient populations.
- Participates in assigned educational activities.
- May provide more sophisticated clinical treatments for assigned patients while assisting the RN and under that RN's direct observation and supervision.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
- CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
- MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be currently enrolled in an Associates, Diploma, or Bachelors of Science Nursing program, with completion of at least two semesters of clinical rotation.
- WORKING CONDITIONS
- Normal office and patient care environments with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like. Occasional exposure to communicable diseases.
