Student Research Assistant
Position Summary
The Research Assistant will work with a preceptor to learn the regulations, guidelines and institutional policies that govern the proper conduct of research at National Jewish Health, perform high quality data entry/extraction, aids with data analysis, and other aspects of epidemiologic research.
Essential Duties
- Learns and applies Clinical Research Guidelines including Good Clinical Practice, HIPAA regulations, and applicable NJH Policies and Procedures.
- Performs high quality data entry and extraction to build a study dataset from electronic medical record extracted test reports.
- Learns and performs study-related data analysis as appropriate.
- Compiles and reviews relevant literature as needed to complete the study scope of work.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Work Experience: Epidemiologic research experience preferred
- Special Training, Certification or Licensure: CITI training required within one month of hire
Salary Range: Salary for this position is set at $19.25/hour.
