SUB-ACUTE PEDIATRIC NURSE MANAGER
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead our sub-acute nursing team as the Sub-Acute Nursing Manager at HealthBridge Children’s Hospital, a state-of-the-art pediatric specialty hospital. This position is a Registered Nurse who specializes in pediatrics and leads clinical operations at the sub-acute facility level and provides oversight for the nursing services.
Under the general direction of the administrator, this position works in partnership with the HealthBridge leadership team and collaborates to identify, create and implement state of the art clinical programs. The Sub Acute Nursing Manager is responsible for patient care, resource management, and fiscal management of the nursing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and driving the quality of care throughout the entire facility, including the rehabilitation, restorative, education and infection prevention programs. They will also be required to manage and train our nursing staff to meet and exceed patient care expectations. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in a nursing leadership position, a solid ability to work with a team, and an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry. The Sub Acute Nurse Manager must have skilled nursing facility experience and have a strong command of State and Federal guidelines as well as a proven track record of survey success. Subacute experience background required.
Required:
- Bachelor degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current California RN Licensure or Compact State
- 2 years of Leadership experience in a skilled and/or Sub Acute level facility
- BCLS, ACLS and PALS Certification
- Flexibility to be available for on call situations as they arise in all areas they manage
Preferred:
- Master Degree in Nursing or related field
- Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN)
- Certified Brain Injury Specialist Training (CBIS)
- Infection Preventionist Certification
