Supervisor Food Service Job, Variable Day & Evening Shifts, Hospitality and Nutrition

Powers Health is hiring for a full-time Supervisor Food Service for Hospitality and Nutrition at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

The supervisor food service is responsible for coordinating, planning, organizing, directing and controlling the activities of personnel engaged in the preparation of food for the hospital patients, employees and visitors; the assembly and service of meals; and the provision of cafeteria and special function service.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven Management Experience of 2 years or more in the field of the Foodservice Industry
• Bachelors/Associates degree preferred in management, food and nutrition, culinary arts, human resources or other related degree
• Possess knowledge of basic food service operations, culinary and nutrition
• Basic knowledge of computer skills and comprehension of software applications are a necessity
• Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills
• Completion of ServSafe Certification within 6 months of employment.
