SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST CERTIFIED
- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for the care and use of instruments in the operating room.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- Diploma from an accredited surgical technology program.
- Currently certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology or National Center for Competency Testing as a Surgical Technologist.
- Experience, six months to one year preferred.
- Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of principles of asepsis
- DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- Personal
- Evidence of good health, grooming and professional conduct.
- Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
- Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
- Ability to follow directions accurately.
- Willingness to participate in call schedule and work irregular hours as necessary.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
