Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with expertise in managing projects involving Microsoft .NET technologies. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects leveraging .NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, Angular JS, jQuery, and SOAP/REST web services. You will utilize SCRUM and Agile methodologies, along with tools like JIRA, SmartSheet, and MS Project, to plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in .NET technologies, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of projects involving Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation in collaboration with the team.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Apply SCRUM and Agile methodologies to facilitate efficient project execution, sprint planning, and backlog management.
  • Utilize JIRA, SmartSheet, and MS Project to track and report project status, risks, and issues.
  • Create business process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with the development team to address technical challenges, provide guidance, and support problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in .NET technologies and project management methodologies.
  • Manages project delivery process, scope, and costs of moderately complex projects under broad supervision; drives completion of the project.
  • Manages stakeholder relationships; develops and executes communication plan.
  • Manages change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization, and contributing to development of training.
  • Evaluates project results against success metrics; recommends or implements changes to processes, resources and solutions that improve productivity and end product.
  • Consistently delivers established team reporting and guidance metrics
  • Manages projects involving onshore and offshore team members.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field.

  • Five (5) years of experience in software and/or product development involving Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in managing projects involving Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Strong technical background and hands-on experience with .NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, Angular JS, jQuery, and SOAP/REST web services.
  • Proficient in SCRUM and Agile methodologies, with the ability to effectively apply them in project management.
  • Experience working with project management tools like JIRA, SmartSheet, and MS Project.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
