Mammogram Technologist Summary

The Mammogram Technologist performs mammography imaging procedures at a level of competence not requiring constant supervision to technical detail. Assumes responsibility for designated areas.

Mammogram Technologist Requirements

Education

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology Training program approved by the JRC/ERT and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) and (M) Mammography.
• Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.

Experience

• Entry level.
