TELEMETRY TECHNICIAN
- DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
- A person who under the direction and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse provides clerical support, assistance with basic patient care and telemetry monitoring in the IMC/ICU
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional/Educational
- High School diploma required.
- Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Successful completion of Arrhythmia Recognition test.
- Telemetry interpretation experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and order entry experience required.
- Current certification by IDPH as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
- DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
- At least 17 years of age.

- Desire and ability to cooperate with and/or under the direction of others.
- Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative and honestly.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and self-directed.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
