Sanvello is looking for an adult psychiatrist who can provide anywhere from 35-40 hours per week of telepsychiatry services in a virtual setting while working from the comfort of your home or office. This is a great opportunity to develop expertise in telepsychiatry and to make a positive impact on those who want need care, but frequently do not have access.

About You

You are an outstanding clinician with top-notch interpersonal skills and a passion for serving those who need it most. are well-versed in using EMRs and have experience with using video-based services or using video teleconferencing. You are looking for a position that offers the ability to work from home and avoid commuting, and has clinical supports so that you do not have to do excessive administrative work.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient through conversations, interviews, and observations
  • Administer patient tests or request testing/lab work; analyze patient data and results
  • Diagnose patient with correct psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorder
  • Collaborate with patient's physicians and other staff to determine treatment
  • Set patient's goals and discuss treatment plans
  • Establish timelines, tasks, and medical needs of patient
  • Analyze the best medications or therapy to help patient reach goal
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient intake
  • Document patient records and progress, including symptoms, medications, and treatments
  • Counsel patient and listen to their reactions to treatment
  • Provide patient with emotional tools and methods for recovery
  • Educate patient, patient's family, significant others, and relevant parties of patient's progress, treatment, and future goals



Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience treating adult psychiatric patients
  • Completion of 4-year ACGME Residency Program
  • Board certification
  • Medical License in the US
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen
  • Solid relationship building capabilities
  • Positive and compassionate attitude
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize needs
  • Willingness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field
  • Passion for advancing the therapy field
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
