THERAPIST LSW/LPC- YCATS
SAMARITAN BEHAVIORAL HEALTH
FULL TIME/ VARIED HOURS/ 80 HOURS PER PAY
The Therapist plans and
delivers outcome-effective clinical, case coordination, intervention,
prevention, consultation and/or mental health services to pediatrics and their
parents, and the agencies that serve them. Services are provided both within
this agency and in the community, in families' homes, in schools, and other
social service agencies necessitating transportation
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
*Master's degree in a Mental Health field.
*Licensed in the state of Ohio as
a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW)Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills with
children, parents, and professionals to provide information regarding the
children's needs and strengths and the development of appropriate services.
*Physical abilities required include sufficient mobility,
sufficient strength to lift/carry a young child, language skills, ability to
utilize emergency physical interventions, and to perform written paperwork
(manual or automated).
*Knowledge of, and use of, The Diagnostic and Statistical
Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5 or subsequent revisions).
