Job Description
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Trauma Surgeon, you will help critically injured patients receive immediate, expert surgical intervention so they can achieve optimal recovery and improved quality of life. This vital role is central to our commitment to providing world-class emergency care.
In this role, you will lead surgical teams in high-stakes environments, performing complex procedures to stabilize and repair life-threatening injuries. You will be expected to diagnose and treat a wide range of traumatic conditions, from blunt force trauma to penetrating injuries, with precision and calm under pressure, leveraging the latest surgical techniques and technologies. Some additional details:
- ACS Level 1 Trauma Center
- Joining a group of 7 trauma/acute care surgeons, 13 app's within a multispecialty medical group
- Inpatient census of 40-70, dedicated Surgical ICU
- Outpatient clinic for elective surgery (if desired) and trauma/surgical followup.
- Learners from multiple institutions, including medical, PA, NP students, and PGY 1-5 residents from general surgery and emergency medicine (Creighton University East Valley Arizona).
To be successful in this role, you must possess board certification in General Surgery with fellowship training in Trauma Surgery or Surgical Critical Care, alongside a proven track record in a Level I trauma center. We are seeking a highly skilled individual with exceptional clinical judgment, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development in the evolving field of trauma care.
We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
