Overview
We are seeking qualified TBI / Psychiatric providers to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Compensation & Pension (C&P) exam program. This opportunity involves conducting non-treatment disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans across multiple clinic locations in the Western United States.
This is a domestic travel-based role, ideal for providers seeking flexible, structured work without the demands of traditional clinical care.
Position Highlights

Responsibilities
- Conduct Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and/or mental health evaluations for Veterans
- Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) accurately and thoroughly
- Review medical history and document findings in a clear, objective manner
- Maintain timely completion of exam documentation
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted MD, DO, NP, or PA license
- Experience in TBI, psychiatry, psychology, or behavioral health preferred
- Comfortable performing standardized evaluations (no treatment required)
- Willingness to travel domestically within the Western U.S.
Compensation
- Paid per completed evaluation (DBQ)

Additional Information
- This role supports Veterans through the VA disability evaluation process, which is separate from treatment or care provided at VA medical facilities
