Ultrasonographer

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs ultrasounds with efficiency and accuracy. Ultrasound exams including, but not limited to: Abdominal, Aorta, Renal, Pelvic w/transvaginal, Thyroid, Breast, Testicular, Lower Extremity Venous, Soft Tissue. Must have a good knowledge of human anatomy and ultrasound physics. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to FHCP policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, skills and experience:
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Must have attended an AMA or CAHEP accredited ultrasound school.
• Must be Abdominal and/or GYN registered by the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
• Knowledge of office skills.
• Current CPR/BLS certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association OR the ability to acquire the certification within 90 days of hire.
• Clear English communication skills, written and oral.
• A valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation is necessary for required travel throughout the facilities.
