Job Overview:

The Sonographer provides patient services using diagnostic ultrasound equipment. The Sonographer is competent in the production and analysis of ultrasound images used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the individual must be prepared to render quality patient care by exercising discretion and judgement in the performance of sonographic services. Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Graduate of an approved school of Sonography
• RDMS preferred, required within two (2) years of hire
• One year prior experience preferred
• BLS required
