Value Analysis Manager

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced nurse with a strong project management background and an active nursing license. This role requires an independent worker with exceptional research skills, high attention to detail, and technical proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with GPOs and an understanding of clinical change management are preferred.

This position reports to the Corporate Director of Value Analysis & Resource Management, with dotted line responsibility to the Corporate Director, Materials Management Operations.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated nursing experience (3-5 years). (bedside, Cath Lab, or CVOR preferred)
• Holds a valid nursing license and an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Skilled in project management with the capability to drive initiatives independently.
• Adept at conducting research and managing complex, detail-oriented tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; prior exposure to Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) is a plus.
• Possesses a solid understanding of the clinical ramifications of operational changes.

Job Duties:

• Identify, source, and analyze products using cost-benefit metrics and market research.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure samples and facilitate product evaluations.
• Facilitate value analysis committee projects and support system-wide product trials.
• Analyze vendor performance, pricing, and literature to inform future procurement.
• Liaise between Materials Management and clinical departments to implement new products and substitutions.
• Assist in creating service contracts, bid proposals, and quotation analyses.
• Perform other duties as assigned
